Biography
Alexander Parkhomenko graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Dzerzhinsky Military Engineering Academy.
Alexander began his career in the IT sphere as the commercial director of the British branch of the Dialogue joint venture. Then he worked at NCR as a customer manager, was the head of the department for work with the industrial and public sectors in the Russian representative office of Sun Microsystems.
From 1998 to 2004, he held various positions in the Cisco Systems representative office in Russia and the CIS, the last of which was the Deputy General Director of the representative office.
From October 2004 to May 2006, he worked as vice president of the Borlas consulting group.
From May 2006 to September 2008, Alexander Parkhomenko served as Director of Sales in the Russia CIS and Southeast Europe Motorola Enterprise Mobility Business/Symbol Technologies.
2008: CEO of Avaya Russia and CIS
In October 2008, Avaya announced the appointment of Alexander Parkhomenko as CEO of Avaya in Russia and the CIS. In this position, Alexander Parkhomenko carries out general management of the company, aimed at further developing business in this region.

On April 19, 2019, Avaya announced the appointment of Alexander Parkhomenko as vice president. Previously, since 2008, Alexander served as General Director of Avaya in Russia and the CIS. As vice president, Alexander is engaged in the further development of the company and strengthening of Avaya's position in the markets of Russia/CIS, Northern Europe and Israel.
Russian market is strategically important for Avaya.
