Biography

Born February 20, 1970 in Minsk, Belarus.

In 1993 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Faculty of General and Applied Physics.

Since 1991 he has been working at Abbyy. In the company, Konstantin Anisimovich went through a career path to the position of technology director and, as vice president of the speech technology division, was responsible for the company's research activities and product development. Under his direct leadership, the company's technology and product development system was built.

Anisimovich led and participated in the development of recognition technologies, which are now among Abbyy flagship products: FineReader, Recognition Server, FormReader and FlexiCapture.

In March 2022, Konstantin Anisimovich was replaced by American Scott Opitz as technical director of the Abbyy, and Anisimovich took over as director of science (Chief Science Officer). More details here.

Awards

In 2003, Konstantin Anisimovich was awarded the prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for achievements in the field of science and technology.

Hobbies

He devotes his free time to reading literature on Russian and foreign history, biology and linguistics. He studies the ancient Greek language. He knows how to pilot an aircraft (Yak-52) and a motodeltaplan.
