He began his career in the financial market in 1992 as an assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Armpromstroyaktionerbank.

From 1993 to 1994 he worked as a financier at the Teresa Inter joint venture.

From 1995 to 1997 he worked at Technobank, where he went from a specialist to the head of the investment department.
