Biography

Alexey was born on August 31, 1970.

Alexey Badayev graduated from the Moscow pedagogical university majoring in Spanish and English in 1994 and the Moscow business university – in a management (1997).

From 1988 to 1989 worked in printing house of NPA publishing house.

From 1993 to 1994 worked in S.I. Realty.

From 1994 to 1996 worked the head of procurement on MicroAge company (Fargotekhnik).

1996-2010: Entertaining platforms in Microsoft Rus

From 1996 to 2010 worked in Russian office Microsoft. The department on promotion of entertaining platforms headed four years. The company announced Badayev's leaving Microsoft at the end of August, 2010, having noted its deposit to an output to the market of the Xbox 360 video game console, start in Russia of Xbox live service and also in the beginning of sales of Windows 7 and fight against piracy.

In Microsoft Badayev submitted not to the president of the Russian office, but the vice president of Microsoft in EMEA region Jeremy Dale.

"Alexey is the veteran of the Russian representative office of Microsoft, he passed many stages of our development - participated in start of regions, many products and directions of business, - the then president told CNews Microsoft Russia Nikolay Pryanishnikov. - Its leaving was not connected with obtaining the offer from any other company: he was a little tired of work in Microsoft, and we even discussed with it option of its possible return after a while".

Alexey was also a great admirer of products of Microsoft, unlike products of Apple, Pryanishnikov remembered:

"Meeting in the elevator of people with iPhone, he told them about its shortcomings, and me urged strictly to require to stop use of any devices from Apple at office of the company".

2010: The chief representative of Apple in Russia

In September, 2010 it is appointed the new chief representative of Apple in Russia. The previous chief representative Valery Lanovenko left the company at the end of 2009, since then it was vacant.

Alexey Badayev in May, 2012 left Apple company and passed into Taiga Entertainment with the managing partner.

2012: The vice president in OCS Distribution

In October, 2012 Alexey Badayev is appointed the vice president of OCS Distribution. As the vice president of OCS Distribution Alexey Badayev will supervise the Entertainment and Devices Division direction. This direction, new to distribution company. Stayed in a position till 2014.

2014: Vice president of Acronis

In July, 2014 it is appointed the vice president for sales and business development of Acronis in Russia, the CIS countries and Eastern Europe. Alexey Badayev will be responsible for the directions of sales to corporate clients and end users, marketing. For June 8, 2015 Alexey Pavlovich Badayev works as the vice president for sales to Acronis company in Russia, the CIS countries and Eastern Europe.
