Career

2003-2015: IBM

In 2003-2015 he worked at IBM Russia, where he was engaged in a partner channel, as well as business development in the public sector.

2015-2016: Work on IT export in Rostec structure

In January 2015, he moved to the National Center for Informatization (NCI) owned by Rostec to the position of Deputy General Director.

In May 2016, he was appointed General Director of the Rusinformexport company, newly created at Rostec, which was engaged in the export of Russian IT solutions.

Under the leadership of Basin, Rusinformexport signed a contract for the supply of elements of the "electronic government" to Syria (more details).   According to the results of the# basin report of Pavel Basin , Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on September 30, 2016 at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, and on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, the National Project for the Export of Information Technologies of the Russian Federation was prepared.

Within the framework of the visit of Dmitry Medvedev and members of the government in early June 2016 to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the joint implementation of the project on the creation of an electronic government in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Putin and the prime minister of India Modi, within the summit of the countries of BRICS of 15.10.2016, in Goa, signed an agreement from the state company of India on creation of joint venture for implementation of the state program "with Digital India. Smart Cities`.

Co-Chair of the Council on Informatization and Digital Economy of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia

Since 2021, Pavel Basin has been developing the Laboratory of Digital Transformation, created to support socially significant projects and initiatives in the field of application of artificial intelligence in three key areas: economics, social sphere, ecology.
