2024: Detention by FSB officers

On April 4, 2024, FSB officers detained Lyudmila Cherednikova, deputy head of the Lipetsk Region Health Department. The security forces, according to available information, took the official to Voronezh for investigative measures.

Cherednikova worked in the government of the Lipetsk region since 2022 in the status of acting deputy head of the department. She, in particular, was engaged in state purchases. Earlier, Cherednikova served as director of the department for work with wealthy clients of the Retail Business block of the Central Black Earth Bank of Sberbank, whose office is located in Voronezh. And it is with the activities in this organization, according to the newspaper "Kommersant," the detention of the official is associated.

It is known that while working at Sberbank, Cherednikova received a disciplinary penalty in the form of a reprimand: it happened in March 2022. However, the woman challenged the claims against her in court: the corresponding decision was made by the Right-Bank District Court of Lipetsk, and subsequently confirmed by the Lipetsk Regional Court. The Kommersant newspaper notes that in the framework of this proceedings, compensation for moral damage in the amount of 5 thousand rubles was collected from Sberbank.

What exactly is the reason for the detention of Cherednikova is not specified. As of the beginning of April 2024, the security forces and the government of the Lipetsk region did not comment on the situation. Representatives of Sberbank also do not make official statements.

As the resource "Vesti Voronezh" notes, Lyudmila Cherednikova has repeatedly starred for the Voronezh magazine "Dear Pleasure." And in 2021, a woman appeared on its cover. Such a service is estimated at about 250 thousand rubles: this amount includes interviews, photo shoots, hair and makeup.^[1]
