Biography

Stanislav Igorevich Chernin is the son of one of the most influential entrepreneurs in Kaluga, Igor Chernin, co-founder of the largest regional IT company Kaluga Astral.

Co-founder of several Kaluga companies, including 1S-SP (development) ON , Laboratory of Social Technologies (software development), Astral-Service (construction of residential and non-residential buildings), Astral-Development (real estate management).

Also, together with his father, he is the co-founder of the startup Celsus, whose AI solution recognizes breast cancer from X-rays and helps doctors in making a diagnosis. In 2020, the startup attracted 180 million rubles of investments from the NTI Venture Fund, established by RVC.

Russian Post

In February 2020, the former Kaluga official and ex-deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Maxim Akimov was appointed general director of the Russian Post, and a month later - in March - Stanislav Chernin received the post of his adviser on information technology.

Later in 2020, Chernin was appointed director of innovation. In this position, he oversees the corporate accelerator, the development of interaction with startups, piloting digital initiatives within the company, including the delivery of parcels using Yandex robots, and also participates in the development and implementation of the Russian Post digital transformation strategy.

2021: CEO of Pochtatech

In November 2021, TAdviser found out that Stanislav Chernin was appointed general director of Pochtatech, the digital division of Russian Post. The Post clarified to TAdviser that he would combine this position with that of the director of innovation.

Postatech is positioned as a developer of complex digital products for "Russian Post." Among them are the Mail portal and mobile application, an IT platform for post offices, courier interfaces and systems for postmen.

Vladimir Urbansky, who has served as general director of Pochtatech since December 2020, and in fact headed this unit (before being allocated to an independent legal entity) since January 2019, will focus on developing a product approach and take the post of director of digital products, told TAdviser in the company.
