Education
Roman Dashkov is a graduate of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Career
1998-2013
In 1998, he began his career as an operator for the production of oil and gas of the Yamburggazdobycha enterprise. He also had experience in engineering and management work in the system of subsidiaries of PJSC Gazprom.
Since 2002, he worked as chief technologist, deputy head of the department in the Department for Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production.
In 2009-2013, he worked as Deputy General Director for Future Development of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym LLC, where he directly participated in the launch of the Bovanenkovsky field in Yamal.
Since February 22, 2013, he served as Chief Executive Officer for the Sakhalin-2 project.
2024: Appointment as CEO of Sakhalin Energy
In early April 2024, Sakhalin Energy (operator of the Sakhalin-2 project) changed its general director - Roman Dashkov became it. His candidacy was approved by an extraordinary general meeting of participants of Sakhalin Energy LLC.
Dashkov headed Sakhalin Energy instead of Andrei Galaev, who worked at the company for 5 years, including 3 years as chief executive officer. The report of Sakhalin Energy says that Galaev resigned as general director in connection with the transition to another job. At the same time, the name of the company or organization in which he will continue his career is not disclosed.
Before being appointed head of Sakhalin Energy, Roman Dashkov worked as deputy general director of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym LLC[1]
Awards
For his personal contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex and many years of conscientious work, Roman Dashkov has repeatedly been awarded corporate and departmental awards. In 2020, he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree.
