2019-2024

Since 2019, he has held various senior positions at VimpelCom. As Commercial Director of the Western and Moscow Regions in the corporate block, Denis Golovanov was responsible for the strategic development and growth of the client base of corporate clients.

In 2021-2025, as director of large business development, he transformed the work of the bloc throughout the country towards new business areas. Denis Golovanov laid the foundation for scaling solutions in other segments of the company. Since 2024, he has been engaged in the commercial integration of OTM and beeline as commercial director of AdTech beeline.

2025: Appointment as CEO of Mango Telecom

Mango Telecom, which operates under the Mango Office brand and is part of the Rostelecom group of companies, has received a new CEO. Denis Golovanov has been appointed to the post of head. This was announced by the Rostelecom press center on November 24, 2025.

By this date, Denis Golovanov has been working in the telecommunications industry for more than 13 years. Denis Golovanov will focus on strengthening the position of Mango Office and active business development in the segments of the medium and large corporate market. He will also take the position of Director for Digital Communication Services of Rostelecom.

Deputy President - Chairman of the Board of Rostelecom Valery Ermakov noted that the appointment of Denis Golovanov to the post of General Director of Mango Telecom is a logical step. According to Valery Ermakov, this decision will accelerate the growth of the digital communication services segment. Deputy President stressed that Denis Golovanov has deep experience in the telecommunications industry and extensive expertise in business transformation.

Valery Ermakov said that the experience and competencies of the new head will help strengthen the company's leadership position in the unified communications market. The Deputy President noted that the priority of Mango Telecom remains the provision of a reliable cloud communications platform. According to Valery Ermakov, the company will continue to constantly increase value for customers and quickly bring to market the current products necessary for businesses of any scale to develop, increase competitiveness and improve customer service.
