TAdviser interview

The world is undergoing a three-wave technological revolution. On the first wave, there is a digital development of banks, telecommunications companies, public services - those areas in which, under the influence of technology, only the transformation of work algorithms takes place. The second wave is a more severe technological change in industry, transport, healthcare, education, at the intersection of the digital and material worlds. The third wave is technological breakthroughs, changes in the field of genetics, energy and quantum technologies, photonics, which are radical game changers.

There is no single picture describing the technological revolution and its waves, which would allow building priorities for state policy, scientific research, educational programs, commercialization of technologies and investment strategies, says Dmitry Peskov, the president's special representative for digital and technological development.
