Biography
Elena Bunina is the daughter of Russian political scientist Igor Bunin.
She has been working at Yandex since 2007. She created the School of Data Analysis, in which she now heads the department of computer science. Bunina - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Higher Algebra, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Moscow State University. She took the position of HR Director of Yandex in 2011.
On December 1, 2017, Elena Bunina, HR Director of the company, was appointed General Director of the Russian Yandex. As reported, TASS being the general director, Elena Bunina will continue to hold the position. In her HR directors new capacity, she will represent the interests of Yandex in working with partners and at official events.
