Biography

Born in 1973 in Moscow.

She graduated from a special school with the teaching of a number of subjects in German. In 1996, she graduated with honors from the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MGIEM) with a degree in Computing Machines, Complexes, Systems and Networks. He has an MBA marketing degree.

He has been working in the information technology market since 1993.

From 2007 to 2016, he worked as Marketing Director of Jet Infosystems.

In August 2016, she was appointed Marketing Director of Softline. She left the company in July 2023.

Appointment as Kaspersky Lab Vice President of Marketing

Since August 2023, Elena Shedova has been appointed vice president of marketing at Kaspersky Lab with responsibility in all countries of the company's presence.

First of all, in the new role, I will focus on building a marketing expertise center in the company and increasing the efficiency of the marketing function. This implies, among other things, an even greater focus on business objectives in the B2C and B2B segments, as well as in the regions of the company's presence. Second, I will continue the development of the brand at the global level, focusing on technological leadership, value proposition for our customers, partners and employees, - Elena Shedova told PR IT telegram channel "Promote IT." - My integral task will be to improve the cross-functional interaction of marketing with other divisions of the company - sales, product marketing, corporate communications and R&D structures. This is necessary so that the accumulated competencies fully take into account the goals and objectives of the entire company, as well as to effectively further promote the brand both through marketing initiatives and other tools in the territories of Kaspersky Lab's presence. And, of course, I will be followed by the traditional function for all marketing directors to prepare and implement a global marketing strategy based on business strategy.
