Inessa Vasilyevna Galaktionova: career progress
Inessa Galaktionova preferred to move abroad after graduating and make the country’s capital the launchpad of her career. Actually, she had been noticed and received a job offer from Philips Consumer Electronics’ local office when she still was an undergraduate.

Inessa Galaktionova: foray into telecoms industry
Inessa Galaktionova’s first experience with telecoms industry happened in late 2008, and her career has since been linked to this sector. In 2008, she joined Tele2, an international mobile operator. It entered this country’s market in 2003, opening its first local office in Irkutsk. Soon, its local operations were expanded significantly to cover a number of other areas, including St. Petersburg.
The mobile network was in an active development phase in 2008 outside the country’s capital, challenging its local rivals. Up to 2007, Tele2 had positioned itself as a discounter telecom provider and marketed its services under the slogan `Always Cheaper!` After Galaktionova Inessa Vasilyevna joined the company, its marketing strategy started to modify.
