Career

Since 1995 he has been working at Diasoft. He served as Director of Quality.

This is a very difficult position, including because not even all employees in the company understand how wide and responsible its functionality is. You have to deal with almost everything, because the quality should be in everything: in the development of products, and in their implementation, and in their support. But this was just interesting: I influenced the process of forming a system of motivation for employees, worked a lot with staff, implemented large projects, "Dmitry explained. One of these projects, he said, was getting Diasoft a CMMI for development level 3 certificate.

2011: Operating Director of Diasoft

In 2011, he was appointed Operating Director of Diasoft.

For several years I worked as an implementation specialist, it was a very interesting period when I, a young and, as it seemed to me, still an inexperienced employee, was "thrown" at some regional bank. And I had to automate this bank alone. After that, I worked as a consultant on the hotline, then I was engaged in testing, then I returned to the hotline again, but already as the head of the support department. All this time, the company developed, production centers were united, new product lines appeared, which my department was supposed to promote and accompany, - said Dmitry Garbar.

As of April 2011, he has been working at Diasoft for 15 years. Like other members of Diasoft's top management, during this period of work Dmitry tried his hand at different fields.

He served as Director of Operations until 2018.

2019: CEO of New Athens

In January 2019, Dmitry Garbar headed New Athens (Diasoft Group of Companies), a Russian service company specializing in the field of individual IT services for banking business processes. As TAdviser was told at Diasoft on January 18, 2019, his task in this post is to ensure professional management of the company in the long term, in particular, to implement a strategy that implies a transition to a modern technology stack and current approaches to project implementation.

Before Dmitry Garbar, Valery Ovsiy was the director of New Athens for 20 years, who stood at the very origins of the foundation of the company and left it, leaving for a well-deserved rest.

As of January 2019, Dmitry Garbar has more than 20 years of experience in the field of automation of the activities of financial organizations. During this time, he headed the customer support units, the quality service, the project implementation department, and oversaw the work of production and client services.
