Biography

I am a computer scientist by training, and I began to engage in computers, as it seems to me, generally from the first day when they appeared, it was personal YeS18/40 machines. There were clubs in the country where you could work on these computers for money. I was still a schoolboy then, and my friends and I mastered programming languages and wrote our first programs. Then I wrote the first program to order and even received money for it, there was a completely amazing feeling of euphoria from the fact that you do what you love and still make money on it.

Then I worked in one of the first cooperatives, which was called Dialectics and was also engaged in programming. In 1991, a group of programmers, which I was a member of, formed the Diasoft company. I remember the commercial director of Dialectics, trying to keep us, saying: "Where are you going? All niches are occupied, all programs are written. "

We did not understand anything in banks, there were very few of them, and there are even fewer people who understand banking in terms of automation. But somehow we agreed with the Siberian bank "Ugra," which believed us and became our first client. In our very first team, everyone was programmers, we loved to program, and therefore we did everything very quickly and were able to adapt to the customer's requirements, and our programs were beautiful. It was these two factors - the ability to quickly modify the program and a beautiful and convenient interface - that allowed us to gain a foothold in the market.

In 1992, we participated in our first industry exhibition, I must say, very successfully - many interesting applications appeared. Our first Diasoft BANK product was, perhaps, not as functional as the market needs, but with a sufficient margin of safety, which quite satisfied the banks.
