2022: Appointment as CEO of Suzuki Motor Rus
In March 2022, Kazuaki Mimoto was appointed the new general director of Suzuki Motor Rus LLC (the representative office of the Japanese automaker in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan). In this post, he replaced Utah Takahashi, who had led the company since 2018.
The scope of duties of Kazuaki Mimoto as general director of the Russian office of Suzuki includes representing the interests of automakers in the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as all the operating activities of the enterprise. The main course of work and the overall strategy for the coming years will be to increase customer loyalty through improving the quality of client services and sales growth.
The current difficulties are seen as temporary. I am faced with the task of preserving and increasing the results of past years and providing support and high service to Suzuki customers, the press service of Suzuki in the Russian Federation quotes Mimoto. |
According to Interfax, citing the press service of Suzuki Motor Rus LLC, over the years of Takahashi's work, the Suzuki brand representative office increased sales from 6 thousand cars in 2018 to 9.2 thousand at the end of 2021. The company positively assesses this result, taking into account, among other things, the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.[1]
