Sokolov Konstantin Borisovich

Konstantin Sokolov was born in 1967 in Moscow.

Education

He graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI) in 1992. In 1996, he received an MBA diploma from the Maastricht School of Management (Holland).

Career

1992-1995

In 1992-1993 he worked as an expert at the Moscow representative office of the Austrian company Androsch Trading USSR.

In 1994-1995 - coordinator for dealership operations of the Russian representative office of the British company Bank Xerox Limited.

1996-2000

In 1996-2000 - internal controller, financial controller, financial director of the Moscow representative office of Kraft Jacobs Suchard (now -Kraft Food). In 2000-2003 - Financial Director, Director of the Kraft Food branch in Moscow

2003-2015

In 2003-2004, he was the financial director of Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods juice production.

In 2004, he took office as Deputy General Director for Financial and Economic Activities of Ingosstrakh OSAO, which he held until mid-October 2012.

Subsequently, he continued to work in OSAO Ingosstrakh (since July 2015 - SPAO Ingosstrakh) as deputy chairman of the board of directors.

In August 2014, he became Managing Director of the Financial Services Management Directorate of Basic Element Company LLC.

2019

In November 2019, he was appointed General Director of Ingosstrakh Joint-Stock Company and combined the management of the company with the post of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.

2022: Appointment as head of Ingosstrakh

At the end of July 2022, Ingosstrakh announced the appointment of Konstantin Sokolov to the post of head of the company. Under his leadership, the insurance company will continue its course towards the development of digitalization, increasing the level of client service and operating efficiency to maintain Ingosstrakh's leadership in the insurance market, Ingosstrakh said in a statement.

Sokolov will replace Andrei Larkin, who led Ingosstrakh from February 2021. The decision to dismiss him "was made by agreement of the parties," the press service of Ingosstrakh told Frank Media^[1]

As of September 2022, he worked as acting general director of Ingosstrakh.

2023: General Director of Ingosstrakh Joint-Stock Company

By the decision of the Board of Directors of the company Ingosstrakh"" Konstantin Sokolov was elected the General Director of the company. He will also become chairman of the Board of the insurer. Since July 25, 2022, he served as CEO of the company. The company announced this on June 9, 2023.

Under the leadership of Konstantin Sokolov, Ingosstrakh strengthened its position in the Russian insurance market by the end of 2022.

The changes also affected the organizational structure of the management of Ingosstrakh business blocks. The Deputy General Director VHI Dmitry Popov will oversee several cross-functional projects: implementation machine learning in key lines of business, including to increase the efficiency MTPL and insurance of property of individuals, the development of an organizational culture in terms of improving the entrepreneurial climate of the company and working with young talents.
