IPIT experience in modeling processes occurring in industrial installations and devices.

IIT employees have experience in modeling processes occurring in industrial installations and devices, as well as in the development and creation of software tools for such modeling. For this, both commercial packages for mathematical modeling and original mathematical packages developed in IPIT are used. This work has been carried out in close cooperation with NRNU MEPhI since 1999. During this time, a number of projects were carried out to develop software for modeling magnetohydrodynamic processes in industrial electrolyzers for the production of primary aluminum by order of RUSAL. Extensive experience has been gained in the development and modeling of magnetohydrodynamic processes in various other installations and devices: magnetic mixers for the production of aluminum alloys and magnetohydrodynamic pumps, which are widely used in metallurgy and the nuclear industry. Another key area of ​ ​ work is the modeling of the processes of separation of mixtures of various substances, ranging from suspensions, biological solutions and ending with the processes of separation of isotopes in strong centrifugal fields.
