2023: Wildberries Lab Opening Plan to Automate Warehouse Processes

Wildberries has announced the start of cooperation with the MEPhI National Research Nuclear University. Within the framework of cooperation on the basis of the MEPHIUS Microelectronics Design Center, the parties will combine their efforts to create a scientific and applied laboratory, the purpose of which will be automation and improvement of warehouse processes. The university announced this on September 29, 2023.

The following specialists will be in demand in the laboratory: developers in the field of frontend and backend, experts on Flutter, as well as specialists in BI development and database management.

The opening of an application laboratory based on NRNU MEPhI is not only a step into the future for Wildberries, but also the key to the formation of a new generation of IT specialists ready to solve urgent problems, Wildberries said in a e-commerce statement.

Cooperation with an online retailer will allow broadcasting competencies from leading Wildberries specialists in the field of automation systems to the university, launching a number of applied works and educational courses based on an applied laboratory, conducting specialized events for students (hackathons, conferences, lectures) and their internship in the company. noted Deputy Director of the MEPHIUS Design Center Vladislav Samoilov.

IIX is modernizing infrastructure and actively developing partnerships with Russian companies. We are very happy to launch strategic relations with Wildberries within the framework of the MEPHIUS Design Center and are interested in introducing new training programs in the field of automation technologies and joint development of highly loaded IT systems into the IIX training process. Cooperation with Wildberries will open up opportunities for the further development of IICS, noted the head of the IIX Valentina Klimova.

In the near future, the MEPHIUS Design Center plans to repair and brand the premises, as well as equip the Wildberries laboratory with the equipment necessary for productive and efficient work.
