2025: Appointment of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Rostov region as the head

On October 1, 2025, Alexey Kopytov was appointed to the post of head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Technologies and Communications of the Rostov Region. This was announced by the governor of the region Yuri Slyusar at an expanded government meeting.

Alexey Kopytov previously worked in various positions in the divisions of Russian Post and Rostelecom. In addition, he served as First Deputy Minister of Innovation, Digital Development and Infocommunication Technologies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Alexey Leonidovich [Kopytov] has gone from electromechanical to technical director in major telecommunications companies, which guarantees his high expertise in the digital transformation of the region, Slyusar notes.

The head of the region emphasizes that the formation of the government of the Rostov region continues.
