Biography

Roman Vasilyevich Kravtsov was born on December 23, 1978 in Novosibirsk.

In 2003 graduated from Novosibirsk State Technical University majoring in "Computers, complexes, systems and networks", in 2007 gained the diploma of Novosibirsk State University in "Management of the organization".

Till 2003 worked in the field of sales and service of the computer equipment and the equipment.

In 2003-2004 headed the direction of sales of Hittelekom company (Externet system).

Since 2004 worked in the Siberian branch of Rostelecom where held positions of the head of the sales department, the commercial director.

In 2007 it was appointed to the position of the first deputy director of the Siberian branch – the commercial director where supervised all questions of business and investment activities, sales, service and development Rostelecom in the territory of Siberian Federal District.

Since October, 2009 fulfilled duties of the deputy CEO – directors of the Siberian branch of Rostelecom.

Since April 1, 2010 – the deputy CEO – the director of the Siberian branch of Rostelecom.

On August 20, 2010 it is appointed the vice president – the director of the Siberian branch of Rostelecom.

Since December 15, 2010 – the deputy CEO Sibirtelecom in combination. Was the member of council on communication and informatization at the governor of the Novosibirsk region.

2013: The vice president in Rostelecom

Since March, 2013 Kravtsov was appointed the acting as the vice president of Rostelecom for the innovative development. This post became vacant after dismissal in February, 2013 of Alexey Nashchekin.

In April, 2013 Kravtsov told about development of an information system for housing and public utilities at a conference of CNews.

At the end of July, 2013 it is appointed the vice president of Rostelecom for Information society. Submitted directly to Andrey Cheglakov, the senior vice president who is responsible for Information society.

On a post of the vice president for Information society Kravtsov was responsible for infrastructure of the electronic government, creation of the state information systems, implementation of the innovation projects, in particular, development, support and implementation of cloud services in the field of housing and public utilities, medicine, the safe city and others.

Since November 1, 2013 Roman Kravtsov left Rostelecom.

2014-2015: 7Intec, AHML

From February, 2014 to May, 2015 worked as the CEO of 7Intec company, then - prior to the beginning of 2016 held a position of the managing director of division "Information technologies and transactions" in Agency for housing mortgage lending (AHML).

2016: Appointment of a TTK as the president

Roman Kravtsov was appointed to a post of the president of the belonging Russian Railway of Transtelecom company on January 26, 2016.

2018: CEO of TransTeleCom

On July 16, 2018 it is appointed the CEO of Transtelecom company.

In February, 2019 the Board of Directors of a TTK prolonged its powers in this position till January, 2022.

2020: Rumors about appointment of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation as the deputy

On October 27, 2020 the Comnews portal with reference to a source in the telecom industry reported that the CEO of Transtelecom Roman Kravtsov leaves the company before the termination of the duration of the contract and will become the Deputy Minister of Transport instead of Alexey Semyonov.

The source familiar with affairs of a TTK assured ComNews that Roman Kravtsov's transition to Ministry of Transport de jure happens not earlier than the beginning of November. According to it, after Roman Kravtsov's leaving TransTeleCom of the Acting CEO of the company there will be a deputy CEO for a business activity of a TTK Alexey Nozdrin. Whom the Russian Railway as the only shareholder of TransTeleCom, will put forward on a post of the head of the company, it was at that time not known.[1]

But as a result Alexey Semyonov resigned on November 17 the 2020th, and Roman Kravtsov as of the end of December continues to be registered as the head of TransTeleCom on the website of the company. Two sources of TAdviser in the companies which are engaged in digitalization of the transport industry at the end of December told that Kravtsov's candidacy of the Deputy Minister of Transport was really considered for a position, but the new Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev who was earlier heading Aeroflot as a result preferred to see on this post of Kirill Bogdanov, the Deputy CEO of Aeroflot for IT.
