Biography

Born on January 24, 1969 in Leningrad (since 1991 - St. Petersburg).

In 1994 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Technological Institute of the Refrigeration Industry (in 2011 he was attached to the ITMO structure and received the name - Institute of Cold and Biotechnology) with a degree in Low Temperature Technology and Physics.

In 1997 he graduated from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Finance (since 2012 - St. Petersburg State University of Economics).

1987-1989 - Service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

1994-1995 - Inspector of the Office of International Operations "BNP-Dresdner-Bank"

1995 - 2001 - Chief specialist of department of the international financial institutions, investments and credit of Management of foreign economic relations, chief of the sector of financial and credit cooperation of department of technical cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations, head of department of foreign trade and investments of Management of the external economic cooperation of Committee on external relations of the mayor's office of St. Petersburg, then Committee on external relations Administration of St. Petersburg

2001-2002 - Deputy Director of Invest-In Limited Liability Company

2002-2003 - Member of the Management Board, Head of the Corporate Finance Department of OAO Gazprom

2003-2004 - Member of the Management Board, Head of the Financial and Economic Department of Gazprom OJSC, Executive Director of Gazprom Finance B.V.

2004-2019 - Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Head of the Financial and Economic Department of Gazprom OJSC.

Since 2019 - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation

In February 2021, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dismissed Andrei Kruglov from the post of Deputy Minister of Finance.
