Kurpatov Andrey Vladimirovich

Andrey Kurpatov is psychotherapist, the founder of an intellectual cluster "Beautiful Mind", the author more than one hundred scientific works, the creator of system behavioural psychotherapy and methodology of thinking.

Biography

Andrey Kurpatov was born on September 11, 1974 in the city of Leningrad, in family of medical officers that in many respects and defined the professional choice of future psychotherapist.

Education

In 1989 entered Nakhimov naval Naval School.

In 1991 graduated from school and, carrying on family tradition, entered Army medical college of S.M. Kirov on naval faculty from which graduated in 1997 in "medical case".

From 1997 to 1999 based on Army medical college and the St. Petersburg Medical Academy for Post-Graduate Education received specialization in therapy, psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Career

In 1999 Andrey Kurpatov began work in Clinic of neurosises of the academician I.P. Pavlov (SPb with GPB No. 7) as the psychotherapist of crisis department. Was engaged in psychotherapy of patients with neurosises and crisis statuses and also suitsidenta. Under its management the first St. Petersburg City psychotherapeutic center (SPb GPTTs) which was also organizational and methodical department of psychotherapy of Healthcare Committee of the Administration of Saint Petersburg was created.

In 2006 together with the colleagues founded own "Clinic of psychotherapeutic consultation and psychotherapeutic treatment" in St. Petersburg. As the founder of clinic was recognized afterwards, it is difficult to call this project profitable, and it is important rather in terms of promotion of psychotherapy.

Since 2007 works in Krasny Kvadrat group. From the moment of the basis it was appointed to the position of the vice president for corporate construction — was responsible for the personnel and business structure, since 2008 held the CEO's position, i.e., directed already all productive activity of the company.

Since 2012 works as the Chairman of the board of directors of the Krasny Kvadrat group.

The acting member of Academy of the Russian television. President of the Higher school of methodology.

In February, 2019 it is appointed the research supervisor of newly created Laboratory of neurosciences and behavior of the person of Sberbank. Read more here.

Publications

For February, 2019 the author more than 30 popular books published in 7 languages by the general circulation in several million copies; the author more than 100 scientific articles and monographs devoted to psychotherapy, boundary mental disorders and psychosomatic diseases. Continues to write articles for some editions on hot public topics, releases works on philosophy.

Awards

On December 9, 2009 it is awarded with the Certificate of honor of the President of the Russian Federation for active participation in preparation and carrying out tender of the variety Eurovision-2009 song in the city of Moscow.
