Smiths Sergey Ivanovich

Was born in the city of Rustavi of the Georgian SSR. In 1981 graduated from Northwest polytechnical institute majoring in Engineer with specialization "Electronic computers"; was trained at Business school of Columbia University (USA) and ended a course of business administration at Fuqua's Business school of Duke University (USA).

• During the period from 1975 to 1992 there passed the way from the electrician of the Petrograd telephone exchange to the chief engineer of the Nekrasovsky telephone exchange of the Leningrad city telephone network.

• In 1992-1994 - the CEO of Delta Telecom Ltd. In 1995 it is appointed the CEO of JSC Telekominvest. Since 1998 - the CEO of PeterStar Ltd.

• In 2001-2004 was the board member of Telmos Ltd, JSC РТКомм.РУ, Globalstar — Space Telecommunications Ltd, NP Centre issledovaniya problem razvitiya telekommunikatsy.

• In 2002-2004 was the board member of JSC Rostelecom.

• From 2003 to 2005 the board member of JSC Svyaz-Bank, in 2003-2004. CEO, Chairman of the board of JSC North-West Telecom.

• In 2004-2006. The First Deputy CEO and board member of JSC Svyazinvest and also board member of JSC Telekominvest.

• In 2005-2006 Chairman of the board of directors of JSC YuTK, JSC Central Telegraph, JSC Sibirtelecom, JSC Dalsvyaz and JSC Uralsvyazinform. In 2005-2006 the board member of JSC VolgaTelecom. In 2006. Advisor to director general of JSC Svyazinvest.

• Since 2009 - the chairman of the board of directors CenterTelecom. Earlier the Board of Directors of CenterTelecom was headed by the ex-head of Svyazinvest holding Alexander Kiselyov who works at a position of the CEO of FGUP Russian Post now.
