Born April 18, 1975 in Moscow.
Education
Alexey Petrovich Makarov graduated from N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1999 with honors in Information Measuring Technology and Technology.
In 2003-2005 He improved his qualifications in various management programs at the LINK International Institute of Management.
Career
Since 1996, he has been developing retail automation systems.
In 2001, he created and headed ATOL, which is engaged in the development, production and distribution of equipment and software for automating trade and services enterprises.
In 2013, he founded ATOL Drive, a supplier of ATOL Drive 5 tachographs.
In 2016, he became the co-founder and shareholder of Evotor, which supplies smart cash terminals for small and microbusiness (a joint project of ATOL, Sberbank and entrepreneur A. Romanenko).
As of February 2019, he is chairman of the board of directors. ATOL

In 2015, he won the international competition "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the nomination "High Technologies" by Ernst & Young.
