1988: Midland Bank
Since 1988 was an employee Midland Bank (Great Britain).
1990: Citigroup in Hungary and Belgium
In 1990 - 2002 worked in Citigroup at different positions in marketing, risk management and operations department, directed retail business in Hungary and Belgium.
2002: Chief executive officer of Egg France
Since 2002 - the chief executive officer of Egg France (division of the British Internet bank Egg).
2005: Fortis
In 2005 - 2008 directed department of the international retail business and consumer crediting in Fortis (Brussels).
2008: The president of Visa in the countries of Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa
From 2008 to 2010 held a post of the president of Visa company in the countries of Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa - the region covering 80 countries. Mark was responsible for strategy, marketing, sales, finance, legal issues, corporate communications and also for the relations with regulating authorities. It was a part of operational committee Visa Inc.
2010: Head of divisions of Citigroup
In 2010 returned to Citigroup where soon headed retail business in Europe, in the Middle East and in EMEA. Mark transformed this business, promoting implementation of innovations and digital technologies.
2013: Chairman of the board of directors of Citibank
On September 12, 2013 it was appointed the head of department of Citi in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time headed Board of Directors of Citibank.
2015: The president is the Chairman of the board of Citibank
In September, 2015 it became known that the Bank of Russia approved the candidacy of the head of department of Citi in Russia and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe Mark Lue to a position of the President of JSC CB Citibank and also confirmed its powers as the Chairman of the board of bank.

2017: Return to the management of divisions of Citigroup

As of April, 2019 Mark Lue heads divisions of Citi in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Turkey and Israel, being based in London[1].
