In addition, the division is engaged in the preparation of proposals for the development of digital infrastructure and the application of ICT in state and municipal administration, as well as participation in the implementation of these proposals.

Oleg Khorokhordin resigned as head of the Altai Republic in June 2024. Then he announced his dismissal in connection with the transition to a new place of work, without specifying him. Instead of Khorokhordin, the former first deputy chairman of the Federation Council, ex-secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak became the interim head of the region. In the elections in September 2024, he won and became the elected governor of the Altai Republic[1]
