Biography

Since 2000, Oleg Telyukov has held various positions in MTS.

In 2012, Oleg Telyukov headed the North-West macro-region at Tele2. In this position, he brought North-West to consistently high financial performance.

Under the leadership of Oleg Telyukov, in 2014, Rostelecom's mobile assets were integrated, within the framework of which networks were combined, equipment was modernized and the coverage area was expanded in the regions of the North-West. Thanks to the effective implementation of the project in November 2014, Tele2 launched its first 3G network in St. Petersburg, and six months later - the 4G network.

In 2016, under the leadership of Oleg Telyukov, an LTE network was launched at 450 MHz frequencies in St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Novgorod regions.

In September 2018, he took the position of advisor to the director of operations at the central office of Tele2 in Moscow. In this capacity, he will focus on developing the company's operational processes.

2019: Yota CEO

On May 13, 2019, it became known that Oleg Telyukov, who had previously worked at Tele2 as the head of the North-West macro-region, was appointed the new general director of the mobile operator Yota.

In a press release, Yota reported that Telyukov's duties will include the development and implementation of the company's new long-term strategy.

2021: Transfer to MegaFon

In April 2021, Oleg Telyukov left the post of general director of the mobile operator Yota and moved to the position of director for sales and service of MegaFon. Read more here.

According to Yota representatives, during his work in the mobile operator, Telyukov managed to stabilize the company, assemble an effective management team and strengthen his position in the MVNO market, despite the development of banking operators. The company thanks Oleg for the high growth rate of the subscriber base and the increase in the NPS (Net Promoter Score, net support index).
