Biography

Dmitry Vladimirovich Popov was born on May 25, 1967 in Moscow.

Education

In 1990 graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology on specialization "Theoretical and mathematical physics".

In 2002 defended the dissertation and became Candidate of Physics and Mathematics.

Career

On the specialty worked at Institute of theoretical and experimental physics

In JSC SK ROSNO began to work in 1995. Held positions of the leading specialist of department of life insurance, the head of department, headed the center of life insurance and the center of insurance of motor transport.

Since December, 2006 – the First Deputy CEO of ROSNO and also the chief executive. The board member, is responsible for activities of the company for the organization of a system of sales, the current risks assessment, settlement of losses, development and promotion of insurance products.

Represented the company in board of the All-Russian Union of Insurers (ARUI), in presidium and board of the Russian Association of Motor Insurers (RAMI) and the National Union of Liability Insurers (NULI).

After completion of process of integration and renaming of the company in April, 2012 became the First Deputy CEO of JSC SK Alliance, the head of the block of personal insurance.

In April, 2014 it was in combination appointed the acting as the CEO of SK Alliance Zhizn LLC.

In February, 2016 held a position of the managing director — directors of management of products and development of customer relations of PJSC Sberbank of Russia.

Afterwards it was appointed the chief executive of SK Sberbank strakhovaniye LLC.

Since November 20, 2017 – the Acting CEO of the company.^[1]
