2017: Managing Director of VKontakte

On February 9, 2017, Mail.Ru Group announced the appointment of Andrei Rogozov to the position of managing director of VKontakte.

In connection with the transition of Boris Dobrodeev to the position of General Director (CEO Russia) Mail.Ru Group, the company changes the management system of VKontakte and announces the appointment of Andrei Rogozov, operating director of the social network, to the position of managing director.

Earlier, Rogozov led the food and technical development of VKontakte. Dmitry Sergeev, Deputy General Director of Mail.Ru Group, will still be responsible for the business direction of the social network.

2021: Vice President of Social Platforms Mail.ru Group

March 30, 2021 it became known that the Mail.ru Group created a strategic council on social networks and put in its head Andrei Rogozov, who became vice president of social platforms. He will lead another structure - the direction of experimental projects in the field of social networks and services with social mechanics.

The Strategic Council will determine the course of development of the Mail.ru Group in the field of social networks, including strategic planning for VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. It is expected that the newly formed structure will allow easier synchronization and prioritization, more efficient allocation of resources and faster introduction of innovative technologies. All this, among other things, will help accelerate the development of the VK ecosystem.

The direction of experimental projects, led by Andrei Rogozov, will analyze the experience of social networks, hypothesize and initiate new projects - including for the international market.^[1]
