Getting started at Philips in Russia

Roman joined the Philips team more than 10 years ago as a business marketing manager for IT solutions in healthcare.

Then a new direction for the company entered his area of ​ ​ responsibility: consulting and long-term strategic projects. Continuing to develop these most important competencies of the company, Roman developed and implemented key initiatives, including in the field of public-private partnership, introduced new business models, such as life cycle contracts, leasing, direct transactions with the public sector. Under the leadership of Roman, consulting practice has carried out more than 60 projects for public institutions and private medical organizations.

2019: Chief Strategy Officer for Philips in Russia

Until December 2022, for four years, Roman combined the positions of Director of Strategy, Director of the Department for Interaction with State and Public Organizations and Director of the Department of Complex Projects and Consulting. He was responsible for interacting with representatives of state bodies and senior managers, developing new partnerships and launching innovative business models in the multinational and multicultural region of Russia, Belarus, Transcaucasia and Central Asia, which includes 11 countries.

2022: CEO of Philips in Russia, Belarus, Transcaucasia and Central Asia

On December 20, 2022, Royal Philips announced Zdrav.Expert to appoint Roman Sabirov to the post of CEO of Philips in Russia, Belarus, Transcaucasia and Central Asia. He will begin his duties on December 29, 2022.
