Biography
In 1984 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in Physical and Chemical Research of Metallurgical Processes (specializing in Cybernetics), after which he worked at the institute.
In 1988, he began working at the NPO Chermetautomatics as the head of the laboratory, and then in various positions related to IT, industrial automation and communications.
Since 1990, Sergey Shashurin has worked in the field of IT and communications in a number of Russian and American companies, including the Russian office of IBM and IBS.
2000: Head of Sibintek
Since 2000, he was the first vice president, president and chairman of the board of directors of SibInTek, a system integrator of Yukos, sold to Rosneft's daughter in 2007.
Since 2008, he served as general director of the Moscow representative office of Accenture, since 2009 - vice president for business development at Altegro Group, and since 2010 - vice president, head of the Promavtomatika division at Promstroy Group.
2011: Head of IT Department at Lukoil-Overseas
In 2011, Shashurin was appointed to the post of head of IT management at Lukoil-Overseas, where he worked until 2014. One of the largest projects implemented by the Lukoil-Overseas IT department under the auspices of Sergei Shashurin was the creation of an integrated information system within the framework of the development of Western Kurna-2, one of the largest undeveloped oil fields in the world.
2014: Deputy Director General for IT at the First Freight Company
In May 2014 , the First Freight Company (PGK) announced the appointment of Sergei Shashurin to the post of Deputy General Director for Information Technology. Ilya Kabanov, who previously held the post of deputy general director of PGK for IT, left the company of his own free will.
In March 2016, Shashurin left his post. His successor was appointed only in January 2017 - Vadim Uryas became him.
