Biography

Born in 1980 in Moscow.

In 2003 she graduated with honors from the Moscow State Technical University. N.E. Bauman with a degree in mathematics engineer, in 2006 she defended her thesis. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

From 2006 to 2014, she worked at IT enterprises, was engaged in the development of information and analytical systems.

From 2014 to 2021 she worked in the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

The St. Petersburg portal "Fontanka," citing four sources in Smolny and the embassy, writes that Yulia Smirnova worked as an assistant to the presidential plenipotentiary in the North-West when this position was held by Alexander Beglov, who in 2019 took over as governor of St. Petersburg[1].
