Biography

Was born on March 19, 1979 in the Russian Federation.

Education

In 2002 graduated from the State Space University, Samara, in "Automated information processing systems and managements".

Career

Labor activity of the beginnings in 1998 from a position of the developer in Samarskiye Informatsionnye Tekhnologii LLC.

In the period of 1998 – 2006 worked as the leading developer, a business intelligence and the project manager in the IT companies of the Samara region of the Russian Federation.

In 2006 directed group of software development of the Volga region branch of the international company EPAM Systems.

From 2006 to 2008 as the Director of production in Intellektualnye sistemy LLC was engaged in development and strategy implementation of the company, directed development process and software implementation, etc.

Also in 2008 worked in Magenta Technology (UK), Development Centerin Russia where was engaged in the organization of transparent development processes and quality management of the released software.

From 2008 to 2012 worked in Sberbank CIB (the former Troika Dialog), combining positions of Managing IT infrastructure, the Managing director of IT division of support and development of the Corporate and Client systems, the Development director of architecture and new technologies (Chief Technology Officer), the Director of IT in Sberbank Switzerland and the Director of IT in Sberbank Private Banking. During operating time one of the Russia's first industrial Iaa Sprivate cloud is constructed, the first in Russia is performed and Eastern Europe industrial implementation of Red Hat MRG, the technology break in trade IT to infrastructure of bank and in integration of information systems of bank is made. In 2011 Troika Ecosystem developed under its management is recognized the best the Intranet the solution in Russia.

In 2012 passed to work into the Russian Direct Investment Fund (Vnesheconombank State corporation group) on a position of the Director of Management of Information Technologies. Under its management the federal investment www.investinrussia.ru portal is created. The portal presentation to the Russian President V.V. Putin is held.

In 2015 it is appointed the Vice chairman of the board of JSC Natsionalnye informatsionnye tekhnologii on IT architecture.

In 2017-2019 worked at the leading post in Leroy Merlin.

In 2019-2020 Alexander held a position of the managing director in SberDevices (an ecosystem of Sberbank).

2020: CIO "M. of Video Eldorado"

On August 3, 2020 Group M. of Video Eldorado announced TAdviser Alexander Sokolovsky's appointment to a position of the CIO.

Alexander will head the joint department of information technologies of the M of Video Eldorado Group and will be responsible for improvement of a technology platform and technology development both the companies in general, and two retail brands. Among tasks of CIO which is under direct supervision at the operating officer of the M of Video Eldorado Group Irina Ivanova – development and implementation of IT strategy, evolution of architecture of the online company. Mr. Sokolovsky will also supervise automation of internal processes and application technology the practician of customer service, development of mobile products, transition to "smart" services of processing and data analysis on machine learning, work with startups and internal innovations.

The strategy of One Retail assumes development of the M of Video Eldorado Group as technology company where the majority of solutions are accepted on the basis of data analysis, all routine transactions are automated, and deep personalisation defines customer service. Using all advantages of branched retail, we create digital space which integrates all processes online and in shops in a uniform ecosystem with convenient access from the smartphone, both for the buyer, and for sellers. For the last half a year we transferred all processes to online and laid the foundation of a technology platform.
