2000-2022
In the 2000s, Tatyana Volodina worked in the Russian division of the American cosmetics company The Estée Lauder Companies, responsible for the development of the Clinique brand in the Russian market. After that, she took the post of head of the Russian subsidiary of the perfume and cosmetic corporation Shiseido (Japan). In 2011, she moved to the post of head of the department of her own brands of the L'Etoile chain of stores, and then became the general director of Alcor & Co.
In 2020-2022, as part of the expansion of its business, Alcor & Co acquired 100% of Taber Trade, which manages the Girlfriend chain of stores. In 2024, Volodina left the post of general director of Alcor and Co., taking the position of chairman of the strategic council of L'Etoile.

On April 1, 2025, Forbes announced that a fifth woman appeared in Russia, whose fortune exceeds $1 billion. She became Tatyana Volodina - the controlling owner of the group "Alcor and Co.," which manages the chains of perfume and cosmetic stores "L'Etoile" and "Girlfriend."
According to Forbes, Volodina's fortune reached $1.1 billion: this corresponds to 2790th place in the ranking of the richest people in the world. Earlier, four Russians with a fortune of over $1 billion were included in this list: ex-owner of Inteko holding Elena Baturina, founder of Wildberries Tatyana Kim (Bakalchuk), the largest shareholder of Uralsib bank Lyudmila Kogan and Ekaterina Fedun, who received more than 1% of the shares of the oil company Lukoil from Leonid Fedun's father.
According to Forbes, as of April 2025, the official owner of the Alcor & Co group is Cyprus Letu Holdings Limited, 100% of which is owned by another Cypriot company - GLT Invest & Trade Ltd. In the structure of the latter, Volodin owns 59.2%.[1]
