Valery Shorzhin was born in 1963.

Education

• In 1986 he graduated MSTU from them. Bauman with a degree in Automatic Information Systems. Passed the corporate MBA program MTS in Skolkovo.

Biography

1986-2006

Since 1986, he worked at the Research Institute of Radiophysics, and in 1993-1996. in the department of automation of banking technologies, JSCB Tveruniversal Bank. From 1996 to 2006, he held various positions in the telecommunications company Sovintel - communications engineer, head of the traffic analysis and control group, director of the network control and development department, and in 2000-2006. - IT director.

2006-2014

From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a CTO in the Farlep Invest telecommunications group (Ukraine).

Shorzhin's career at MTS began in 2008 as IT Director. In 2010, he moved to the post of Director of Procurement Management, and in 2014 he became Vice President of Procurement and Administration.

In June 2012, as Director of Procurement Management, MTS OJSC joined the Board of Directors of MGTS.

2016-2018

In 2016 - Member of the Management Board - Vice President for Procurement and Administrative Affairs of MTS PJSC.

On June 22, 2018, by the decision of the annual general meeting of shareholders of MGTS, Valery Shorzhin was included in the Board of Directors of the company.

In September 2018, Valery Shorzhin was appointed vice president of MTS for digital business solutions. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Envision Group JSC, a member of the Board of Directors of MGTS PJSC and the Supervisory Board of VF Ukraine

2019-2020

In July 2019, Vice President for Cloud and Digital Solutions Valery Shorzhin updated his membership in the board of MTS PJSC

In February, 2020 the Former vice president for cloud-based and digital solutions of PJSC MTS Valery Shorzhin passed into PJSC PJSC VimpelCom (Beeline) to a position of the executive vice president for technological development of network. It replaced Martin Shkop who made the decision to leave Beeline.

2022: Mass accident in the suburbs

Vice-President of VimpelCom Valery Shorzhin was a participant in a massive traffic accident that occurred in the Moscow region on August 29, 2022. We are talking about an accident on the highway A-104 Moscow - Dubna in the Taldomsky urban district.

According to TASS, the driver of the Mitsubishi car drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with Renault, and then he was thrown back three more cars. In an accident, one person died, two were injured and were sent to the hospital.

According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, Mitsubishi Pajero, JAC (the driver of this car died), BMW Kh3, Renault Kangoo and the cargo Gazelle collided. As TASS was told in law enforcement agencies, Valery Shorzhin was driving a BMW car, as a result of the collision he was not injured. The reasons and circumstances of the incident by August 30, 2020 are being established.^[1]
