Biography

Nikolai was born on February 24, 1952 in the village of Rassvet, Mtsensky District, Oryol Region.

In 1975 he graduated from the Higher Red Banner School of the KGB of the USSR, has the qualification of "lawyer-jurist."

Candidate of Law.

From 1975 to 2004 he served in the KGB of the USSR, the FSB of the Russian Federation.

From 2004 to 2006 he worked as Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

From 2006 to 2007, he worked as Director-at-Large of Rosoboronexport.

In 2007, he received the position of Deputy General Director of the state corporation Rostec.

Since 2008, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the REA named after G.V. Plekhanov.

Since December 2011, he has been working as the head of the specialized department of economic analysis and corporate management of the production and export of high-tech products of the State Corporation "Rostec" REU named after G.V. Plekhanova.

As of December 9, 2016, Nikolai Anatolyevich Volobuev works as Deputy General Director of Rostec.

As of September 2023 - Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation, member of the Bureau of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
