Artem Yukhin

Artem Yukhin is the director of department of fund management of venture investments of Troika Capital Partners, the founder of A4Vision company, the founder and the chairman of the board of directors of Artec Group. Came to Troika Dialog to a position of the vice president for fund management of venture investments in April, 2007 and now as the director supervises work of regional venture funds of the Moscow region, the Republic of Tatarstan and Krasnoyarsk Krai and also is responsible for development of new funds of venture investments.

Biography and career

Artem Yukhin has considerable experience in the field of information technologies and financing of the knowledge-intensive projects. Before arrival to Troika Dialog he acted as the investment advisor of several international venture capital companies and also financed a number of perspective Russian projects as the private investor.

During the period from 1999 to 2007 Yukhin created and headed several Russian and international companies (Artec Ventures, Artec Group, A4Vision, A4Lab, etc.) specializing in research and development in the field of biometric technologies, computer image understanding and three-dimensional scanning. The biometric technology of three-dimensional face recognition invented and developed by Yukhin and his command became the international standard, is implemented and is used at many airports, banks, government agencies and offices worldwide.

Artem Yukhin is an owner of 19 Russian and international patents on developments in the field of computer image understanding and three-dimensional scanning and also the editor of several standards in the field of biometrics in the International Organization in the ISO standards.

Artem Yukhin has degree of the master of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and also did practical training in laboratory of infrared devices of Institute of Electronics and Laser Technology.
