Biography
Born in 1976 in Moscow.
He graduated from the F.E. Dzerzhinsky Moscow College of Railway Transport.
In 1998 - Moscow State University of Railways (MIIT).
In 2008, he received an MBA from the Higher Transportation Business School.
He began his career in 1994 as an assistant driver of a locomotive depot Moscow -Passazhirskaya -Kurskaya of the Moscow Railway.
From 1998 to 2001 he worked in the locomotive depot Moscow-Sortirovochnaya Moskovskaya railway.
From 2001 to 2003, he held senior positions in the Zheldorremmash Directorate.
After that, until 2006, he was the head of the department of corporate construction and reform of Russian Railways.
From 2006 to 2008, he was the head of the corporate development department of TransContainer OJSC.
From 2008 to 2015, he served as Director for Strategic Development of PJSC TransContainer.
From 2014 to 2016, he was vice president, member of the board of OTLK JSC.
From 2016 to 2021, he held senior positions in the FESCO transport group and FVK JSC.
2021: Head of multimodal transportation in Russian Post
Yuri Yuryev headed the direction of multimodal transportation in the Russian Post. The company announced this on December 21, 2021.
