Igor Zabolotny was born on June 26, 1967 in Moscow.

Biography

Education

Igor Zabolotny graduated from Moscow Technical University of Informatics and Communications majoring in the engineer of telecommunication.

In 1994 got second higher education at the All-Russian institute of an industrial property and innovatics (nowadays Russian state academy of intellectual property) as a patent engineer.

In 2005 received degree of the master of MBA at Academy of National Economy of Russia.

Career

  • In 1996 was engaged in development of the system of Elections state automated system.
  • Since 1998 holds executive positions in the different Russian companies of communication.
  • In 1998 — 1999 - the chief executive of JSC Rostelecom.
  • From 1999 to 2002 held a position of the director of the department of marketing and the organization of sale of services of JSC Investment Company of Communication.
  • On November 14, 2002 Igor Zabolotny the solution of Board of Directors is appointed the interim CEO of JSC Dalsvyaz, and since December 24, 2002 the solution of general shareholder meeting is elected the CEO. Continued the participation in activity of the company as the board member later.
  • On March 14, 2005 Zabolotny is appointed the deputy CEO of Russian Satellite Communications Company.
  • Since August, 2007 Zabolotny works as the deputy CEO, and then the CEO of MTT.
  • On July 2, 2009 Igor Zabolotny entered a position of the CEO of the Central telegraph. In 2011 the term of office was prolonged till 2013.
  • On December 13, 2012 the Board of Directors of telecommunication operator "Central Telegraph" (CT) took place. In the agenda of a meeting change of the CEO of the company appears. The head of the company Igor Zabolotny will be dismissed. The director of the department of products and marketing of Rostelecom Levochka Rodion will become the new head of the operator.
