Развивай.рф Platform (Развитие.ру LLC) is a joint project of ВЭБ.РФ and Mail.ru Group. 2023: Veb Ventures buys 53% from VK in Развивай.рф marketplace

On December 20, 2023, it became known that the Veb Ventures fund entered into an agreement to buy out VK's stake in the Развивай.рф marketplace (part of the ВЭБ.РФ group). The deal, the amount of which was not disclosed as of the specified date, is expected to allow VK to focus on the development of other B2B areas.

According to Interfax, Veb Ventures LLC has consolidated 100% of Развитие.ру LLC, a legal entity responsible for the Развивай.рф project. Prior to the transaction, 52.94 percent of the enterprise belonged to VK LLC. Thus, the marketplace completely came under the control of Veb Ventures.

VK is currently (by the end of 2023) focused on the development of other B2B areas, while VK and ВЭБ.РФ remain strategic partners and will continue to cooperate in various areas, VK representatives say.

The Развивай.рф website says that the project offers services in the field of lending and transport leasing, as well as the search for grants and venture financing. According to the site itself, in 2022 the amount of requests for financing exceeded 3 trillion rubles. Through this marketplace, you can issue over 200 different products. The platform makes it possible to compare the proposals of different financial organizations and form applications.

It is noted that the partners of Развивай.рф by the end of 2023 are more than 40 organizations, including SME Bank, Russian Export Center, PSB, Alfa Bank, Sber Business, Major Leasing, Europlan, Asia-Pacific Bank, Tinkoff, Technological Development Agency, Russian Export Center (REC), etc. Marketplace users get access to preferential loans with state support, quick solutions in 1 hour and financing for any purpose.^[1]
