1C Rarus AI Kassa

According to the company, the service is focused on the HoReCa segment of enterprises, including canteens, cafes, food operators and fast service enterprises. Cash solutions with automatic food recognition are tested on pilot implementations in factory canteens and companies specializing in the organization of industrial catering.

How the service works:

  • Scanning dishes: A tray of plates is placed under the camera - a smart ticket office scans the order in a couple of seconds.
  • Order check: A list of dishes is displayed on the screen - the customer checks whether everything is correct and confirms the order.
  • Payment: Settlement is carried out through a bank terminal or with a food card - without the participation of a cashier.

"1C-Rarus AI Kassa" automatically recognizes the composition of the order, even if the dishes lie on the same plate, determines complex dinners, controls the absence of hands over the tray, sets the backlight for the conditions of the room. The built-in 2D scanner can read barcodes and QR codes of goods to be labeled.

The use of artificial intelligence in a cash solution opens up opportunities for digital transformation of catering enterprises. Along with the front-office solutions "1C: Fastfood" and "1C: Restaurant" smart cash desks complement the back-office systems "1C: Catering" and "1C: Catering enterprise management," ensuring the digitalization of management, accounting and service processes.

We have learned how to summarize data efficiently. On pilot projects, we reassembled datacets each time and taught the neural network to recognize classes of dishes. Now the time for launching new projects has been significantly reduced - we will practically start out of the box on the day the equipment is installed. And at enterprises with several cash desks and a single menu, you can finish training the entire system from one terminal. In the future, we plan to use the accumulated data to expand the scenarios for using the developed technology, for example, to assess the quality of personnel and manage facilities.
