From May 15, 2023, users of the 1C: Fresh cloud will see changes. In particular, those with the Basic tariff will no longer be able to add two different 1C programs with one subscription or work in the previously added two databases of different applications. As explained in the company, from the very launch of the 1C: Fresh service, the Basic tariff includes one base of the 1C program from the available list and one base of the same program for testing, extensions or treatments. And that hasn't changed since 2013.
At the same time, the ability to add diverse applications within the framework of the Basic tariff was not technically limited, and some customers added a second base of another application to simultaneously work in both applications, which did not meet the conditions of the tariff.
From May 15, a user who, for example, paid for one subscription at the Basic tariff, but works in 1C: Accounting and 1C: Entrepreneur, will be considered to have committed a violation. Access to databases will be limited to him automatically until the violation is eliminated.
1C offers three ways to fix this: purchase a second subscription to the Basic tariff, upgrade the Basic tariff to the PROF tariff, which includes 10 bases from the same list of available programs as for the Basic tariff, or leave one program to choose from. I.e. users who have resorted to a "trick" with two bases will now have to either pay more or receive less opportunities.
At the time of publication of the material, 1C could not clarify to TAdviser how many users will be affected by this change.
In one of the 1C partner companies, it is believed that in reality, most users of the Basic tariff establish the second base not for testing, expansion or processing, as planned according to the terms of the tariff, but for normal work in it[2].
In addition, from May 15, 2023, it was decided to include in 1C: Fresh an automatic restriction of the size of one base of any 1C application used at KORP and ERP tariffs over 8 GB per base.
