2024: Product Announcement
At the end of June 2024, the Russian company Urobot (Yurobot) from Petrozavodsk presented the Antero 3 robotic platform, suitable for use on construction sites. This machine with artificial intelligence functions can be used as a loader or, for example, an inspector to assess the quality of work performed.
Various embodiments are provided for the robot. Existing attachments allow the delivery of both liquids in containers and materials in a loose or solid state. The developers are creating additional equipment that will expand the capabilities of the robot to perform a variety of construction tasks.
Antero can move around the site, monitoring the current state of work: the machine scans QR codes, surfaces and objects. Then, using AI algorithms, the collected data is compared with a model of a construction structure or complex of construction objects. Next, a report is formed with a visual representation of the site: thanks to this, you can clearly see where progress is behind schedule, and, if necessary, take corrective action.
The robot is able to automate the process of covering the floor. It accelerates the mixing of the material, washing, pouring and grinding of the surface. Moreover, the machine is able to mix components in accordance with exact proportions and perform tasks on large open areas. Antero's carrying capacity reaches 2.5 tons. The speed of movement is up to 6 km/h, and on one charge of the battery pack, the machine can function for up to 12 hours. Built-in wireless communication tools are provided - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE. The equipment includes lidar and other sensors for navigation and control of the surrounding space.[1]
