2019: Announcement of the virtual Arrow transport card

On November 6, 2019 the Sberbank company provided technology of the virtual transport card: at the beginning of 2020 the possibility of release of the Arrow transport card in smartphones with NFC technology will become available to inhabitants and guests of Moscow area.

According to the company, it will be possible to pay with the virtual card from the Arrow application journey on any kind of public transport and also in a number of the museums of Moscow area with all discounts of the normal Arrow card.

The virtual transport card is the next step to the strategy of failure from plastic. Now passengers will be able to create the Arrow card at any time in the presence of the Internet and at once to take all its advantages, including the system of discounts for journey which can reach 35%. Now it is not necessary to look for points of distribution and replenishment of the plastic cards "Arrow" — passengers who often use public transport of Moscow area, will be able to save time and to cut down the expenses on journey. More than 1.5 million people became users of Arrow

More than 1.5 million people became users of Arrow, according to the card more than 230 million trips are made. The share of cashless payment of travel by public transport made more than 61%. Thanks to the Arrow card passengers managed to save more than 1 billion rubles.

In 2016 it was succeeded to implement the first step to integration of the transport systems of Moscow and Moscow area. The project on issue of the integrated Arrow cards with the application Three and cards Three with the Arrow application is started. More than 100 thousand people became users of such cards already, according to cards more than 1.8 million trips are made. Besides, it is developed and the new format of the travel card – charms of Shooter with the application Three is tested. Within the action which was carried out by ETK LLC from December 1 to December 20, 2016 more than 100 passengers will be able to estimate advantages of their use in the nearest future.

In the Arrow System such agents of replenishment as the MOSCOW CREDIT BANK, Post Bank, Eleksnet, Megafon, etc. are also connected. In general, today passengers of Moscow area can deposit money on the card in more than 40 thousand points.

The functionality of mobile application and personal account of Arrow is expanded: the section with history of trips is updated, the quantity of methods of replenishment at the expense of e-wallets of Yandex.Money, WebMoney, VISA QIWI WALLET is increased, push-notifications are configured. According to the statistics, more than 950 thousand people were registered in a personal account of Arrow, more than 830 thousand downloaded mobile application.

In plans to continue to work on improvement of online services of Arrow. So, in 2017 it is going to start service of blocking of cards and transfer of funds for the new card through a personal account of the passenger. The operator of the project will continue to develop infrastructure of replenishment and distribution of the card and also functionality of the Arrow system.
