2023: Compatible with Astra Linux Special Edition RUSB.10015-01 (version 1.7)

Atomik Soft"" and LLC RusBITech-Astra"" completed the tests and confirmed the compatibility ON of Alpha Platform OS and Special Astra Linux Special Edition Purpose RUSB.10015-01 (version 1.7). This was announced on June 1, 2023 by Atomik. Software

All Alpha platform components related to collection, storage, data processing, interface operation, redundancy and security were checked.

As a result of testing, Atomik Soft received a compatibility certificate. For end users, this means that the Alpha platform, being a cross-platform product, is fully compatible with the OS, its functionality will be available in full and will not be affected when updating the Astra Linux version.

2020: Alpha.HMI 1.8 Linux-enabled release

On April 28, 2020, Atomik Soft released the release of an integrated environment for the development and execution of the visual part of Alpha.HMI automation projects.

Alpha.HMI 1.8

According to the developer, the main improvements and updates in the Alpha.HMI 1.8 version affected, first of all, support for Linux operating systems and increase the convenience and speed of users. The developers have expanded functionality and updated Alpha.HMI in accordance with end-to-end changes to the flagship product "Atomic Software" Alpha platform. Updated project development functionality in cross-platform Alpha.HMI will expand the capabilities of customers when switching to domestic software as part of the import substitution strategy.

To expand the functionality of Alpha.HMI on Linux, they added the ability to connect components developed on.Net Core. This allows OS Linux users to create their own components and connect them to the project. The interface for interacting with non-visual components of.Net Core is built from the Alpha.HMI graphic element library.

In the presented version of Alpha.HMI, the developers have done a lot of work to increase the launch speed of the project. We implemented the launch of the project from a binom file. This allows you to start the project after forming a binom file, skipping the compilation stage, which takes most of the time at startup. The project starts very quickly. For example, the launch time of a large project is reduced tenfold, according to Atomic Software.

In Alpha Platform, Alpha.Alarms and Alpha.Trends event, alarm and graph mapping tools can be used as embedded components or as standalone applications. However, such "closed" applications, made in the form of ActiveX components, work only on Windows, the developer noted.

Alpha.HMI 1.8 implements the acquisition of operational and historical values and events by to the protocol TCP so that users can create their own implementations of Alpha.Alarms and Alpha.Trends, depending on. operating system

According to the developer, a number of improvements and updates will allow users to work even more conveniently with the project at Alpha.HMI. In the presented version, the project engineer can convert any object into an array of the same type of objects, including graphic ones. This greatly expands the ability of users to choose approaches to creating a project.

For the convenience of drawing mnemonic diagrams, the following object types have been added:

  • The Connecting Line and Connecting Point graphic types to make it easier to draw links and pipes.
  • graphic type Move to implement Drag'n'Drop capability.

In addition, for the convenience of tracking changes in project sources and updating the project during the work of Alpha.HMI, the built-in type Project Manager is implemented.

Other improvements and updates noted by the developer:

  • A dark theme appeared
  • The interface language is selected and the code editor appearance is configured
  • Implemented the ability to interrupt the compilation of the project
  • Configured to group and sort types in Content Center
  • Improved the stability of Alpha.HMI.

2019: Astra Linux Special Edition compatibility

On September 11, 2019, it became known that Atomik Soft, the developer of the Russian platform for APCS and APCS P Alpha Platform, and NPO RusBITech, the developer domestic operating systems, successfully tested the compatibility of their software products. During testing, the operability and correctness of all Alpha Platform components in the environment of the Astra Linux Special Edition special-purpose operating system was confirmed.

The scope of the tests included all the functionality of the Alpha Platform: collection, storage and processing, data correctness of the user interface, redundancy of system modules, delimitation of access. The compatibility check of the software products was carried out successfully and in full. According to the test results, Atomik Soft received a Ready for Astra compatibility certificate Linux and the companies signed an agreement on technological cooperation.

In the future, Alpha Platform will be recommended for use in conjunction with the Russian operating system Astra Linux Special Edition for the development of APCS and APCS projects P. Operating system Astra Linux has certificates of compliance with the tools of information protection Ministry of Defence Russia FSTEC Russia FSB and Russia, and is also included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs Russian electronic computing machines databases Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and Russia[1]

2016: Alfa Platform Announcement

As of November 2016, Alpha Platform is a domestic platform software that was developed in accordance with the recommendations of the ISA 95 standard and is able to compete with Western counterparts. According to the developer, the Alpha platform provides performance 4 times higher than competing solutions and reduces cost of ownership by 20% per year.

To develop the basic functionality of the Alpha platform, private Russian investments in the amount of 100 million rubles were attracted. The funds were spent on the purchase of technical funds, tools for designing and testing software, as well as on the remuneration of domestic developers, who over 5 years designed and implemented a unique architecture of the system core, which became the basis for a completed platform solution.

The management system created on the basis of the Alpha platform displays a picture of the progress of processes and implements secure information exchange protocols, which allows you to organize safe management and monitoring of facilities. Processing 1,000,000 parameter changes in the I/O server takes only 1 second, and the depth of historical data is limited only by the capacity of the disk subsystem. The speed of "clean" launch of the mnemonic diagram with 16,000 numerical parameters is 1.5 seconds compared to 20 seconds in the first implementations of the platform.

In 2016, Atomik Soft expects revenue of 70 million rubles, and by the end of 2021 its increase to 300 million rubles. At the moment, Atomik Soft's share in the software market in the fuel and energy segment is 0.7%, after 5 years the company's management will occupy 5% of this market.
