2021: Announcement of the first Russian IVL apparatus for home use
On October 26, 2021, Rostec introduced the first Russian ventilator (IVL), which can be used at home. A portable device called Aventa-Vita was developed by the Ural Instrument-Making Plant, part of the Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET).
The Aventa-Vita IVL is capable of operating independently from external power sources and stationary oxygen supply lines. It can be used outside medical institutions, including for children.
The design provides both internal and external accumulators that guarantee the non-volatile nature of the device and the stability of its operation even when voltage drops. At the same time, the device has a wide functionality of a stationary device, the developers say.
