2021: Announcement of the first Russian IVL apparatus for home use

On October 26, 2021, Rostec introduced the first Russian ventilator (IVL), which can be used at home. A portable device called Aventa-Vita was developed by the Ural Instrument-Making Plant, part of the Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (KRET).

The Aventa-Vita IVL is capable of operating independently from external power sources and stationary oxygen supply lines. It can be used outside medical institutions, including for children.

The design provides both internal and external accumulators that guarantee the non-volatile nature of the device and the stability of its operation even when voltage drops. At the same time, the device has a wide functionality of a stationary device, the developers say. The device will be able to transmit all monitoring data to the consultation center for analysis, selection and correction of the ventilation mode.

This is the first domestic IVL apparatus that is suitable for home use, "says Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of Rostec (KRET is part of this state corporation). - The device is equipped with a simplified control system - people without medical education can use it. At the same time, the developers also provide complex treatment programs, the tuning of which can be carried out only by experienced resuscitation doctors. In terms of its functionality, reliability and quality, the device is not inferior to foreign counterparts, but the cost of our development is much lower.
