Mobile printers were initially developed for services of the emergency help and the companies in the field of professional services. Using these devices it is possible to print documents in A4 format, including checks, invoices, orders, clinical records of patients, notifications on penalties and electronic filings.

Brother devices of PJ-600 and PJ-700 series are popular among professional tattooers across the whole Europe. The market grew at rather big rates, thanks to a printability of these devices with the resolution up to 300 t / d that is ideal for the difficult parts of design used in cliches for tattoos.

Sales growth since 2013 coincided with implementation of compatibility of the PJ-673 printer with iOS. Users of this device can create and print documents on Wi-Fi directly with iPad and iPhone from Apple. New mobile Brother printers are compatible both to Apple, and to Android.

Brother also makes portable printers of the RJ series which have high-strength construction and are adapted for operation under trying conditions.
