2020: ColorWave 3600 и 3800

On October 8, 2020 Canon Russia announced release of the updated series of large-format printers ColorWave and PlotWave. These series include two ColorWave models (3600, 3800) and five models of monochrome PlotWave printers (3000, 3500, 5000, 5500 and 7500). They are developed for implementation of creative projects in any organizations at all stages of creation of graphics — from visualization the idea and began its embodiments to direct printing.

According to the company, ColorWave and PlotWave printers with additional opportunities of scanning and postprinting processing is the complete solution simplifying automated production of large-format products. Using completely compatible pilers and faltsevatel, any printer from the updated series it is possible to configure according to certain requirements and to receive ready documents. Besides, now users can update printers without replacement of the equipment for postprinting processing. Instead it is possible just to upgrade pilers and faltsevatel.

All updated models are also compatible to the Scanner Express scanners which are installed in an upper part of PlotWave printers for express printing and also with the independent industrial Scanner Professional scanners integrated with one or several printers.

Printers of these series are the eco-friendly, compact and ergonomic solutions suitable for use in any environment — from large offices to copy workshops and production premises. And silent operation of these devices allows to focus on the current tasks completely.

Any company wants to be sure of security of the data. For example, divisions of research and development print the prototypes which are not intended for public eyes, and construction companies keep in secret drawings of buildings not to endanger the future project.

Devices of the updated series are equipped with the integrated SMARTshield system providing safe data transmission and details of accounts of users when sending files for the printer. To opportunities of this system safe storage location, data protection from theft and accidental leak, limited access belong to confidential files and the function of prevention of cracking protecting files from unauthorized access.

The updated intuitive interface of the ColorWave and PlotWave models is simple in use and does not require involvement of the trained operator. ClearConnect which is built in by software allows to optimize workflow both for accomplishment of simple daily tasks, and for printing of difficult sets of documents. Active warnings and exact print preview of printing allow the user to make necessary corrections in advance and to send data to printing from any place and from any device.

Besides, the POWERsync controller allows to integrate any model of the ColorWave and PlotWave series into a local network using uniFLOW technology for safe printing and accounting.

The Publisher Select program intended for process optimization of creation of graphics is included in the package of software of ClearConnect and allows not to make misprints thanks to the function of a preview working by the principle "I print that on the screen". This program supports work with two devices from a line of large-format printers Canon, and allows to appoint specialized templates for independent tasks or for printing of separate files in difficult enrollment of documents.
