2019: uniFLOW Online 2019.1

On February 26, 2019 the Canon company provided upgraded version of the software solution uniFLOW Online 2019.1 which will allow partners of the company to meet customer requirements in the field of cloud computing. Taking into account the growing demand for cloud solutions for scanning and printing uniFLOW Online 2019.1 include the possibilities of centralized operation helping to simplify integration, to increase productivity and more effectively to control expenses. Thanks to simple setup and flexibility of the solution partners of Canon will be able to increase service quality and to reduce number of calls to technical support, claim in Canon.

According to the developer, the procedure of receiving accreditation was most simplified: it is enough to complete a special installation, setup and management course. Such training will allow to find more time and forces for satisfaction of customer needs. The utility of setup of devices in the provided version completely supports devices with the eULM function and acts as the uniform program center for fast adding and updating of several devices at once. Besides, the button of online installation connects the user directly to the device — without need to involve the consultant. Thanks to it device management became simpler and more available. Both small, and large enterprises will be able to save time and resources due to lack of need for regular engineers.

As noted in Canon, the cloud solution for management of an output of uniFLOW Online 2019.1 allows to browse, print and put in queue the documents which are stored in cloud services without investments in server or IT infrastructure.

Thanks to integration between cloud services, uniFLOW Online 2019.1 and a line of the Canon MFP partners will be able to increase efficiency of the clients. The solution is compatible to the majority of cloud services (including Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive) that simplifies cloud printing and scanning at the expense of a familiar working environment. A system is aimed at decrease in number of errors during the work and reduction of need for regular TO that will release time for work with clients, claim in Canon.

Also, according to the statement of the developer, uniFLOW online 2019.1 will allow to reduce costs due to integrated management of printing and document flow. For bigger transparency in this updating the feature for data acquisition about costs of users, departments and separate devices is added. The solution provides access control to devices through the system of authorization on departments: it will allow to control better charges of the MFP and to minimize unnecessary printing.
